Physics Department Tour - Calc. Based Intro Physics Lab (Halsey 360)

This is the laboratory for the calculus based introductory physics classes (109/110). The room was photographed as it was being set up for some experiments in optics (note the lasers and optical benches).

The iMac computers in the room are interfaced with many different sensors (force, acceleration, temperature, etc.) and used to aquire data during experiments. Each one is also connected by a wireless network that lets them be moved from station to station without worrying about wires.
