From the scorching surface of Venus, to the frozen moons of the Jovian worlds, and from the barren surface of Mars to the oceans teaming with life on Earth, our solar system has many secrets to share. Join us for this comparative planet logy course that may just raise more questions than answers about our solar system.

During this online course, participants will complete a series of online units centered on planetary and space science concepts to build core knowledge that can be incorporated into the classroom. This course will be taught as a general overview of comparative planet logy. Since the course is intended for classroom teachers, instruction will place an emphasis on creating inquiry-based lesson plans aligned to the National Model Academic Standards in Space Science, as well as the use of the best practices for teaching these objectives.
